Heligoland is a small German island in the North Sea, located about 70 kilometers off the coast of Schleswig-Holstein. The island is divided into two parts: the main island of Helgoland and the smaller dune. Heligoland is known for its impressive red rocks, steep cliffs and picturesque sea views. The island is also a popular bird watching destination as it is home to a diverse range of birdlife. Helgoland is also a center for seal watching, especially during the winter season.
